The ‘MIT Startup Bible Workshop’, a side event of ‘Smart Cloud Show 2018’ being held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul on the 20th, was successfully held. This event is a place where you can taste the core contents of MIT's entrepreneurship program. United Square Advisory Consultant - Yang Sung Won, MIT Entrepreneurship Lecturer Neinei Shirakawa, and Khan Bulseok Management Consultant participated as speakers.
Executive Vice President of United Square, Sungwon Yang, who was the first speaker, selected 'passion', 'talent' and 'market' as the entrepreneurial spirit for success. He emphasized the importance of finding a sweet spot that satisfies all three conditions (the part that flies the furthest when the ball hits a tennis club or baseball bat in sports).
There were also heated questions from the participants, including representatives of domestic startups and innovation managers within companies. They asked and answered questions in a variety of areas, including how sizing a team is appropriate for corporate innovation, how to persuade existing organizations to resist innovation, and how to balance performance with employee happiness.
Ahn Jae-hong, CEO of Cheongbang Networks, said, "As a developer, I have an understanding of the technical part, but as a manager, I needed a broad understanding of organizational management and finance." It was a time to contemplate how to realize profit creation and achieve what the company wants to achieve, and to get ideas.”
